Hello and welcome! I’m Paul Pinto, the face behind Paul the Plant Guy, and I’m thrilled to share my love for gardening and nature with you! I am 4th generation New Jersey gardener, starting with my great-grandmother and her small patch of potted tomato and pepper plants on a small concrete lot. I have fond early memories of my Grandpa paying me a quarter for every bundle of weeds of could clear out of the garden. My Dad’s garden was and sometimes is my playground! His love of nature, experimentation, and complete disregard for traditional garden aesthetics garden continues to be a source of constant inspiration and education. Without him, I’m not sure if I would have the same reverence and love for all things nature!
